I love love love babies.  And lucky for me I get to play with them every so often.  My good friend Corey from my previous job just had this beauty.  They also have their little 19 month old.  Wow hands and hearts are full in their home!  Thanks Corey and Heidi for sharing your kids with me!

Hansen Cousins

I love doing shoots like this one.  This was a cousin shoot.  I believe it was for a special surprise for Grandma!  Not many Grandmas get this without organizing it themselves.  I love working with kids they all have such different personalities that you have no clue what to expect. 

How could you not adore this picture!  Love Miss K!  Like this one if I take a picture that I laugh out loud at when I pull it up I will put it in the final prints cause I know that Mommy will like it just as much or sometimes more than I did! 

Lee Family

This was the one family that I shot while in Montpelier that I had no personal ties to.  Kat is a friend of my sister in law.  She found out that I was coming and contacted me.  She warned me that her boys were tough.  They proved to be what they are BOYS!   She also has a son Mr. A that has down syndrome too (see post below).  He was so fun he didn't like to look at me and smile he liked to look away.  But I still loved what we got from him.  As for the other two could they be more handsome.  We even snuck a few in with Kat's boyfriend. Thanks so much Kat for sharing your boys I know you were stressed but I think we got some great ones.  I hope you enjoy!

Hanson Family

Awe Hanson family you know I love you.  This is my Brother in law and his family.  My little nephew Lucas has Down Syndrome.  I have photographed Lucas before with no problem (mostly because he adores his Auntie).  Even though I had photographed him before with amazing results my sister in law Terie was still a worry wart all day.  She kept telling me and everyone else he was going to be horrible.  HAHAHA he made a LIAR out of his Momma!  Lucas was amazing.  Something to know about him is that if he finds something that he likes, he likes it soooo you go with it.  It may not be the most perfect spot but he likes it and if he likes it you use it.  I think his choice was fantabulous!  Now as for the other two James and Lyndsay you will always be my little flower girl and ring bearer.  I love you all and I wish you would stop getting older!

This is my favorite picture of them all.  This is their life the two oldest go do their own thing and Lucas is with Mom and Dad I love it.  Nothing tells the story of their life better than this picture.  Mike and Terie you are amazing!  LOVES

Messerly Fam

Messerly Family I love little Miss K.  This baby has the most amazing eyes!  Note to every one there was NO eye enhancement at all on this little muffin!  She really has those gorgeous eyes.  And yes she really was that serious the whole time for pictures.  I was a little worried about the lack of smiles until Ryan's sister shared with me that there are very few pictures of him growing up where he was smiling, so rather than me take the blame for the lack of smiles I will gladly blame that on Ryan!

DeClark Fam (Georgetown Idaho)

A month ago I went down to Montpelier Idaho to shoot some families.  My husband is from there so it was a bonus to spend time with family too.  If you are from another town and want me to travel it does cost extra but if you organize multiple sessions then the travel fee gets divided making it more affordable for everyone. 

This is the DeClark Family.  I have known them since I married my husband.  I don't always get to see them so it was so fun to see the kids.  I remeber them when they were either just new babies or really really little.  Now they are all growing and getting older it reminds me of how old I am getting.

 I wish I could have this old red barn in my back yard so I could use it all the time. 

It was so fun!

Taylor Fam

PICTURES HAVE SO MUCH POWER

So I have to explain a little about this post.  Travis is a good friend of mine that has recently gone through a Divorce.  I told him that one thing I did for one of my cousins that went through it was to do his pics with just his little girl so that he would have a new family pic to hang on his wall.  I told Trav to call me as soon as he wanted to get his new family pic.  I think pictures are very therapeutic,  we look at pictures all the time with out even thinking about it.  When you go through a divorce and your picture of your family still has that person that is no longer part of it, that can really open wounds daily.  So for all of you that are or have gone through this same thing really think about getting an updated family pic whether you are the Dad or the Mom.

Travis I am very proud of you.  I cannot wait to see what lies ahead in your future.  You are an amazing Dad and you have two amazing little spunky girls.  I had so much fun shooting your family.  Hope you enjoy the pics!

Halloween Mini Sessions

I have officially lost my mind!  Thanks to my friend Travis I got myself some hay bails brought into my studio.  I'm a tad nuts but they make great pics.  Bring your little Monsters in for a short shoot and have bragging material to go with you on Halloween.  Turn around time for these shoots will be two days so you will have them in your hand in no time.  Wouldn't it be fun to take or mail pics to Grandmas and Grandpas so they have some thing to brag about to or even something to put on your 2012 calendar.  So much fun to have these.  Please call and make an appointment ASAP.

Bowcutt-Rose-Harris

Ha this was a marathon shoot, (I love marathon shooting it is such a challenge) so so much fun to do.  Emily actually talked to me about this, she told me her brothers family and also her sisters family wanted to get together for pics and was wondering if we could do them all at once.  I said sure I am always up to multiple shoots. (BTW if you do schedule shoots together there is a discount)  Anyhoo we had a ton of fun.  Thanks Emily for organizing this and being such an amazing beautiful person.  You Rock!
