Bidwell 2011 Faves

The Bidwell Family came back to me this year for some awesome outdoor shots.  I was down in Pocatello visiting family over Thanksgiving so I was able to meet them and get them done down in Pocatello.  Pocatello old town is one of my favorite places to shoot so much texture on the brick and no one wall looks the same.  Thanks Bidwell's for freezing to death but making it look so much fun!

Baby Sophia

Oh my goodness this baby is so scrumptous.  Such a good little one and can we all say together BEAUTIFUL.  I am so lucky I get to cuddle this one often!

Felisha Bridals

Love this Bride.  She got married on 11-11-11 what a fun day to be a bride.  We squeezed her pics in three days before the wedding.  I have to give it to her she was so calm about her upcoming day.  Love her and her family so much I wish you all the love in the world Felisha. 

Mitchell Family

Okay love this family, they are some personal friends of mine and they have been blessed with four little boys.  I joke with Ressha that the Lord could have had a little imagination with one of them because they all look alike just different sizes.  Now for the fun part of this shoot, IT WAS COLD AND WET, but the amazing part about it is that they were taken in their backyard.  Please remember when thinking about locations sometimes they are closer than you think.  Ressha asked me about using a neighbors backyard but they were not home so we took a look in her own back yard a WHOHOO look we scored.  Thanks Mitchells for such a fun shoot!

Happy Birthday Char Obray

How cool is this Char celebrated her 60th birthday this weekend. She was thrown a surprise by her two daughters. They arranged for her parents and siblings to come for the party. They then called me to arrange a once in a very very long time family picture. It was so fun to work with this group. I told them I felt like I had cheerleaders behind me when I was positioning for pics I knew I mad right choices by their response to the pose. You guys started out my day amazing. Hope you all enjoy a safe trip back home. Happy Birthday and thank you for having such amazing daughters that are my friends!

Nisson Family

Nisson Family I love you.  I know I say this all the time but the truth is my clients simply are the best.  But they are even better when they are life long friends like the Nisson's.  Leah and I have been friends for 10 years.  Oh my gosh Leah we were so stinking young back then.  Oh the memories that we have of singlehood (is that a word).  But then one night in December we both started dating the men that would be our husbands.  On the same night no less.  Now 10 years later I get the honor to photograph her family.  This is not the first time I have photographed her family and I hope it is not the last.  Leah and Derek your kids bring a smile to my face you should be very proud the the mini Nisson's!  Hope you enjoy this sneak peek!  Love you guys!

Jennings

I love love love babies.  And lucky for me I get to play with them every so often.  My good friend Corey from my previous job just had this beauty.  They also have their little 19 month old.  Wow hands and hearts are full in their home!  Thanks Corey and Heidi for sharing your kids with me!

Hansen Cousins

I love doing shoots like this one.  This was a cousin shoot.  I believe it was for a special surprise for Grandma!  Not many Grandmas get this without organizing it themselves.  I love working with kids they all have such different personalities that you have no clue what to expect. 

How could you not adore this picture!  Love Miss K!  Like this one if I take a picture that I laugh out loud at when I pull it up I will put it in the final prints cause I know that Mommy will like it just as much or sometimes more than I did! 

Lee Family

This was the one family that I shot while in Montpelier that I had no personal ties to.  Kat is a friend of my sister in law.  She found out that I was coming and contacted me.  She warned me that her boys were tough.  They proved to be what they are BOYS!   She also has a son Mr. A that has down syndrome too (see post below).  He was so fun he didn't like to look at me and smile he liked to look away.  But I still loved what we got from him.  As for the other two could they be more handsome.  We even snuck a few in with Kat's boyfriend. Thanks so much Kat for sharing your boys I know you were stressed but I think we got some great ones.  I hope you enjoy!

Hanson Family

Awe Hanson family you know I love you.  This is my Brother in law and his family.  My little nephew Lucas has Down Syndrome.  I have photographed Lucas before with no problem (mostly because he adores his Auntie).  Even though I had photographed him before with amazing results my sister in law Terie was still a worry wart all day.  She kept telling me and everyone else he was going to be horrible.  HAHAHA he made a LIAR out of his Momma!  Lucas was amazing.  Something to know about him is that if he finds something that he likes, he likes it soooo you go with it.  It may not be the most perfect spot but he likes it and if he likes it you use it.  I think his choice was fantabulous!  Now as for the other two James and Lyndsay you will always be my little flower girl and ring bearer.  I love you all and I wish you would stop getting older!

This is my favorite picture of them all.  This is their life the two oldest go do their own thing and Lucas is with Mom and Dad I love it.  Nothing tells the story of their life better than this picture.  Mike and Terie you are amazing!  LOVES
